Booking Info

Prime Ruin books harsh noise, industrial, ambient, experimental, musique concrète, punk, and sound art events in the Ithaca/Upstate, NY area. All shows are planned out several months in advance, based on appropriate venue availability, and with the goal of highlighting and supporting the touring artists.

Ithaca has a busy local music scene and PR has a curated approach to booking smaller, intimate shows. While this means we cannot accommodate every request, we still encourage you to reach out.

When writing to PR, please supply links to your sounds or send physical media. Please indicate if you are a regional artist looking to play a future show or a touring artist with a specific date in mind.

Touring metal, hardcore, grindcore and punk may be considered on a case by case basis. If it’s not the best fit, we still hope to point you in the right direction.
